5 Things to Look for When Buying a BBQ Grill in Dubai

1. Steel thickness

This is the single most important factor and the one most buyers overlook. Thin steel — 1mm or 1.5mm — warps under sustained high heat. You'll notice it after a few cooks when the grill no longer sits flat, hotspots develop, and the structure starts to buckle.

2. Grate material and design

3. Heat control

A grill with no way to adjust the cooking height gives you one option — move the food. A grill with an adjustable grate lets you raise or lower the cooking surface relative to the coals, giving you precise control over how fast things cook. This matters more than almost anything else for live-fire cooking.

4. Stability and build

Pick the grill up. Shake it. A well-built grill feels solid. Welds should be clean and continuous, not tacked. Legs should not flex. Wheels if present should lock properly. A grill that wobbles when empty will not improve when loaded with food and coals.
