We keep our built in offering simple, one model, available in two materials. It's the Santa María grill frame with the firebox alongside it, built to fit the opening in your space. This is the configuration we've refined and stand behind, so for now it's the one we offer for custom builds.

The Model We Build
The standard grill grate is 80cm wide by 50cm deep, with the firebox, or brasero, alongside it measuring 25cm wide by 50cm deep. To fit both together we also need to account for the frame itself, which adds around 10cm to the total width and 5cm to the depth. Adding it all up, the grate, the firebox, and the frame, a full standard size setup needs roughly 115cm wide by 55cm deep once everything is in place, so we recommend an opening of at least 120cm wide by 60cm deep once the bricks are installed to stay comfortably within that.
For most builds, walls sit around 30 to 40cm high in an open layout, so the wheel and lifting mechanism aren't a factor in the space needed. If your design encloses the grill within a taller structure, we need to allow extra clearance beside the frame, roughly 15 to 20cm, for the wheel to operate, so let us know if that's the kind of space you're working with.
A smaller grate is also possible if your space is tighter, and the opening required scales down accordingly.
Materials
All custom builds are fabricated locally in the UAE in either carbon steel or stainless steel depending on your requirements and budget.
For outdoor built-in installations, we strongly recommend stainless steel for its durability and resistance to the UAE climate — humidity, heat, and salt air included. Carbon steel is a great option for sheltered, covered, or indoor setups where conditions are more controlled.
We recommend lining the base with fire bricks over the concrete rather than leaving it exposed, this protects the concrete and manages heat far more efficiently. We can supply the fire bricks and refractory cement as an add on if you'd like us to include them.
Pricing
Pricing for the standard size is AED 5,900 in carbon steel and AED 9,800 in stainless steel. Larger sizes are quoted separately according to size. Final pricing is confirmed after we review your space and requirements. There are no surprises — scope, timeline, and budget are all agreed before production begins.
How the Process Works

- Alignment and approval — scope, timeline, and budget are confirmed before any work starts.
- Production and delivery — fabrication begins only after your final approval, and only after your contractor has installed the refractory bricks and we've taken final on-site measurements. Typical lead time is 20 to 25 working days.
Because every custom build is fabricated to your exact space, final fabricated dimensions such as grate size and assembly fit may differ by a few cm from quoted specifications due to on-site measurement and fabrication tolerances.
